To create a public event, which would be available to all users of Wangoworld, go to “My Events” in the app, use the (+) icon to create an event. In the “Create New Event” form, ensure you select “Public” in the event mode dropdown. You do not need to invite guests as all users of Wangoworld will be able to find your events. Note that public event can be shared on social media by other Wangoworld users which helps promote your events. Events will become available in your “My Created Events” section of the app after it has been approved. Approval usually takes a few minutes. Every event must be approved by the admin to ensure it does not contain any offensive or discriminatory material before it’s made available in the Wangoworld event store. To create a private event, which is accessible to only invited guests, go to “My Events” in the app, use the (+) icon to create an event. In the “Create New Event” form, ensure you select “Private” in the event mode dropdown and then use the “Invite People” button to invite friends and family. Note that private events cannot be shared on social media, only the event creator can invite guests. Every event must be approved by the admin to ensure it does not contain any offensive or discriminatory material before it’s made available to your guests. Your guests will receive a notification on their devices informing them of the event invitation, and reminding them to respond. Private Events are free to create on Wangoworld.
